Synthetic Environment Workbench
The SE-Workbench principle is based on the priority to the physical accuracy of the 3D database and to the material physical-characterization. The usage of ray tracing and 3D graphic board techniques for the scene analysis enables the generation of high quality scenes of complex scenarii.
IR-Workbench
The IR-Workbench is based on state of the art standards for tools and API development to ease the software integration in user-designed applications. The SE-RAY-IR product makes use of the ray-tracing technique or the photon-map technology in a very efficient way. This is especially well suited for complex scenes physically accurate analysis in the infrared spectrum. The SE-FAST-IR software product is one of the best solutions for short, precise and physically accurate infrared fast time simulation. It is used for missile mission simulation and Monte-Carlo based improvement techniques.
EM-Workbench
The SE-RAY-EM product is the physical kernel of the EM Workbench tools suite. It consists of a non real-time electromagnetic ray tracer - developed by Oktal Synthetic Environment in cooperation with ONERA in France. The SE-RAY-EM product computes the interaction of the EM wave with a 3D scene characterized by physical properties. The same models are applied to the ground or to the targets - it's only the parameterisation of the ray tracer that differentiates an RCS computation and a SAR image calculation. This method is very different of classical method used by tools that «paint?SAR images. Together with the user interface, Oktal Synthetic Environment provides also a professional API. The SE-RAY-EM product is a mastered, documented and advanced software. Therefore, the SE-RAY-EM is different from «black box?software of the competition.
SE-NAV
SE-NAV is a new product dedicated to the assessment of GNSS signals reception in stringent environment. This software predicts the performance of systems such as GPS, COMPASS or GALILEO integrated into 3D virtual scenes representatives of real urban areas. SE-NAV provides user with output to estimate and to locally improve the signal reception in a given environment.
